Acquiring and growing
enduring American
small businesses.

Navalper partners with owners of profitable, well-run companies to provide a thoughtful succession — preserving what works, investing in employees, and building for the next generation.

01

Philosophy

We offer small business owners a thoughtful succession: a fair valuation, an efficient close, and a careful transition to new ownership. Our goal is to own, operate, and grow companies with a track record of strong profitability and meaningful potential ahead — not to engineer a quick turnaround.

  • i.

    Sustaining your legacy

The culture and reputation an owner spent decades building is the business's most valuable asset. We protect it.

  • ii.

    Investing in employees

Long-tenured teams know the business better than any new owner. We help them reach their full potential.

  • iii.

    Operational improvement

Thoughtful innovation in systems, technology, and process — not disruption for its own sake.

  • iv.

    Sustainable, long-term growth

We hold for the long term and reinvest in the business, its people, and its customers.

What we look for

We focus on a narrow set of characteristics that, in our experience, define a business worth holding for decades.

Located in the U.S.

Small businesses are the backbone of the American economy. We invest exclusively in companies headquartered in the United States.

Stable revenues

Annual revenue between $4M and $40M, with at least three consecutive years of profitability.

Solid track record

Recurring customers, durable fundamentals, and minimal cyclicality — businesses that have weathered more than one cycle.

Committed owners

Sellers who care about the long-term success of the company, its employees, and the legacy they've built.

Decade of operating history

Established companies — typically more than ten years in business — with a clear story of how they got here.

Smooth transition

An owner who wants to hand the business to a single, committed operator — not to a fund flipping it in five years.

Julio Jiménez

Founder & Managing Partner

Navalper was founded on a simple belief: that thoughtful, long-term ownership is the right home for great American small businesses.

The companies we seek typically generate $4–40 million in annual revenue, have been in business for more than a decade, and have been profitable for at least the last three years. Their owners care deeply about the company's culture, values, and legacy — and they want to see the business continue to thrive long after they've stepped away.

If that sounds like the business you've built, I'd welcome a conversation.
